The Region 8 Education Service Center has announced the winners of the Regional Science Fair. With the rise in COVID numbers, the fair was conducted virtually. Students submitted videos for judging and winners were announced on February 8.
Two students from Aaron Parker Elementary placed in the top three in their individual categories with their projects.
Adam Joudeh placed third in the Chemical/Physical category out of 110 projects. Kinley Crawford placed first in the Behavioral/Biological category out of 66 projects.
Sponsor and science teacher Britany Creamer said, “Doing it virtually was a huge headache because of many issues, but we were glad to be able to do it and I was so excited for their success. It was all worth it in the end!”
