CAC silent and live auctions still available to help children || Sweetheart Soiree

The Children’s Advocacy Center’s Sweetheart Soiree may be sold out, but that doesn’t mean you have lost your chance to help children in the county. The center’s live and silent auctions are available for those who want to contribute.

The silent auction opens online Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at 8 a.m. and runs through Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at 10 p.m. You can access the silent auction through this link: https://bit.ly/3HBb2FE

A live auction will also be streamed on the CACParis Facebook page on Friday, Feb. 12, 2022, at 9 p.m., where you can bid on your favorite items by texting 903-609-9671.

Both auctions are available to everyone, regardless of whether you have tickets to the in-person event.

“The Sweetheart Soiree has always been a time we can celebrate the hope, healing, and justice that can happen when we all come together to protect our children and raise funds and awareness for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Paris; however, these last two years have reminded us that we are truly ‘Better Together’ for our shared mission of restoring and healing the lives of child abuse victims,” officials said on social media. “We believe that we can set children on a path towards healing by providing a child-focused, trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary team approach to these difficult investigations and by providing the critical services children need as they go through the investigation.”

Even if you’re not going to the soiree, please consider taking a look at the auction items and bidding on something to help these children.
