Mrs. Mildred L. Shankle, age 103, passed away on January 26, 2022, in Burleson, Texas. She was born on August 6, 1918, in San Antonio, Texas, to Charles and Ruth Hilliard Austin.

Survived by her son; Learon Shankle, Jr and wife Shirley of Marshall, Texas, daughter; Peggy Allen of Bokchito, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Zane Smith, Joel Allen, Robert Allen, Shannon Weatherby, Karma Smith and spouse Rondy, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Ruth Austin, husband; Learon Shankle, great-grandson; Mathew Allen.
