A rain/snow mix is possible for areas in North Texas late this afternoon continuing into the evening and night. Precip will initially fall through very dry air and struggle to reach the surface. Precip type will start as sprinkles/light rain then transition to a rain/snow mix after sunset. A select few across the far northwest will see a full transition over to snow with <1/2″ of snow accumulation possible on elevated non-treated surfaces.
