Tommy Lynn Huddleston, age 67, of Paris, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Tracy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Tommy was born Oct. 25, 1954, to Buncie Leonard and Tommie Joyce Huddleston, of Paris, TX.
Tommy graduated from Paris High School in 1972. Upon graduation, he married the loved of his life, Cindy Williams Huddleston, on May 31, 1975, and later had a son, Micah Huddleston. His great love was his family.
He was a member of the Honey Grove Cowboy Church, Honey Grove, TX.
He held many titles throughout his work career; butcher, machine operator with Kimberly Clark, and hay bailer/raker. His favorite job, however, was working side-by-side daily with his son, Micah, in his HVAC business. Tommy never considered this a “job” as there is no place he would rather be than with not only his son but also his best friend.
He had many joys in life, from his family and friends, which he held dear, working in the hay field, hunting, fishing, gardening and playing with his beloved dog, Tank. His greatest joy, however, was following Micah and the “roping bunch” from one team roping to another, leading the cheering section, as he was always their biggest fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buncie Leonard and Tommie Joyce Huddleston, a daughter, Jinifer Saunders, and Aunt Wanda Lewis and husband Don.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Williams Huddleston, son, Micah Huddleston & wife Tina, grandson, Dain Thurman & wife Kayleigh, and great-granddaughter, Harper Thurman. Aunt Cheryl Bills & husband James and his father-in-law & mother-in-law, George & Carolyn Williams along with a host of family and friends.
Tommy was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Many will miss his infectious smile and laugh.
