William Brooks Harlan || Obituary

William Brooks Harlan, 69, of Paris, Texas passed away on September 10, 2021, in Seguin, Texas.

Brooks grew up in Paris, Texas, a town he loved and only left briefly to attend college. He worked as a painter for many years and enjoyed studying sharing the good news of Jesus, reading westerns, and keeping his lawn spotless. In addition to being a devoted Christian, Brooks was a kind and fun-loving gentleman who never missed an opportunity to invest in the lives of others. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Brooks was preceded in death by his father, William Milling Harlan and mother, Maxine Eugenia Harlan. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Harlan Whitley, sister, Virginia (Jenny) Harlan Sawyer, grandchildren, Priya Harlan Whitley, Adin Whitley, Gavin Whitley and friend, Kathy Marshall. We invite all of Brooks’ friends and loved ones to join us for a memorial service at Westwood Church Of Christ on January 15th at 1:00 p.m.
