  • Paris Police responded to NE Loop 286 in reference to a possible intoxicated driver at 7:43 A.M. on January 10, 2022. The officer located the gray Toyota pick-up in about the  1000 block of SW Loop 286 and observed the vehicle to be swerving across the center and lane lines. The officer stopped the vehicle and found the driver, 38-year-old Casey Arin Weber, of Wills Point, Texas to be in possession of over 4 pounds of marijuana and more than 4 grams of THC wax. Weber was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Weber was later transferred to the Lamar County  Jail.

  • Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of NW 5th St at 3:44 P.M. on January  10, 2022, for failure to display a registration sticker. The driver, 38-year-old Joshua Calvin Davlin, was found to have an outstanding felony warrant out of Red River County along with a parole violation warrant. Davlin was arrested and later transferred to the Lamar  County Jail.
