Man arrested after allegedly cutting a 24-year-old man with a knife

Mychal Tyler Jones, 30, of Paris, was arrested at 2:55 P.M. on January 5, 2022, in the  1000 bock of Hearon St. Jones was known to have an outstanding felony warrant charging him with aggravated assault. The warrant stemmed from a December 29th investigation of an incident where Jones allegedly cut a 24-year-old man with a knife. Jones was booked and  

later transferred to the Lamar County Jail. 

Paris Police responded to 91 calls for service and arrested 2 persons on January 5,  2022.
