To promote the safety and security of Greenville ISD students, families, staff and visitors, the district is enacting a bag policy for athletic events by limiting the size and type of bags that spectators are allowed to bring to GISD athletic venues.

All campus visitors are required to show a government-issued ID when visiting a campus. They are screened through a database that contains registered sex offenders from 50 states in addition to locally entered security information before being allowed on campus.
