Coppell, TX and Broken Bow, OK residents among the five killed in Fannin County Crash

Five people were killed in a fiery crash on State Highway 121 in near Randolph in Fannin County Monday, officials say.
This is the second crash with five fatalities in Fannin County for October. Five people were killed on Highway 56 outside of Windom in a head on crash October 2nd.
A Mercedes Benz driven by 30-year-old Sivaa Rajaneni, of Coppell, was driving northbound on State Highway 121 near County Road 4165 shortly before 6 p.m. Monday, tried to pass in a no-passing zone and hit a Hyundai Tucson head-on, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Both vehicles caught on fire.
In the area of the crash the northbound lanes of SH 121 merge from two lanes into one while the southbound lanes open to two lanes. The speed limit is 75 miles an hour.
Rajaneni was pronounced dead at the scene, as were two other passengers in the Mercedes, Gopi Thirumuru, 30, and Haritha Reddy Degapui, 27, officials say. A third passenger, Saisuhas Reddy, 30, was flown to Medical City Plano with critical injuries.
The driver and a passenger in the Tucson, Danielha Rodriguez of Broken Bow, Okla., and Maria del Carmen Santiz-Lopez, 64 , were also killed in the crash, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
First Responders from multiple Fannin County Volunteer Fire Departments including Randolph, and Trenton, responded to the scene along with ambulances from Allegiance/Fannin County EMS and Bonham Fire Department.
No other details were immediately available, DPS Troopers continue with the investigation into the crash.
