Carevide, a non-profit health center providing care to 31,000 patients throughout six counties in Northeast Texas, is proud to announce that Stan McKee, a member of Carevide’s Board of Directors, was elected to a two-year term as a Health Center Board Member Representative to the National Association of Community Health Center’s Board of Directors on Aug. 27, 2023, in San Diego, CA, at the Association’s National Conference.

“As a long-time board member of Carevide, Stan has advocated for community health centers and increased access to healthcare services for underserved communities.  He has been instrumental in Carevide’s success and has become a driving force of action at the state and national level on behalf of our patients and the needs of our communities,” said Michelle Carter, Chief Executive Officer for Carevide. 

McKee is a retired Senior Manager for Customer Relations at Oncor, the largest electric utility distribution company in Texas.  McKee is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology.  His career embodies serving others which mirrors the mission of health centers, and he continually works to engage board members from other health centers across the state and nation to ensure the strength and survival of health centers and access to healthcare services for underserved communities.
