Royse City Senior selected to the TMEA All-State Mixed Choir

Royse City High School Choir member Ally Romney has been selected to the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Mixed Choir. Romney is the first Royse City High School Choir member to make a TMEA All-State Choir ensemble.

Each fall, over 70,000 Texas high school students begin the All-State audition process. 1,810 are ultimately selected to rehearse and perform during the annual TMEA Clinic/Convention in one of 18 Texas All-State ensembles, including four choirs: Mixed Choir, Treble Choir, Tenor-Bass Choir and Small School Mixed Choir.

Romney is now one of just 112 members who have received the highest honor of being selected to the state’s top high school choral ensemble.
