The Reecy Davis Center will be hosting many events in the next few weeks to celebrate the holiday season.
A flashlight candy cane hunt will be held Dec. 5th at 6 p.m. There will be free flashlights for the first 200 participants who are aged 12 and under. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag or stocking to collect their prizes.
There will be a wreath-making event held Dec. 8th from 7-8 p.m. The price is $20 for members and $30 for non-members of the Reecy Davis Recreation Center.
A breakfast with Santa will be held Dec. 10 from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. and Glenda’s Cafe will provide breakfast tacos to the first 175 people that register for the event. There will also be a parent’s day out from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Parents will be able to drop off children ages 6-14 for a day of activities and crafts while they have a morning to themselves.
Santa’s mailbox has reappeared at the Reecy Davis Center this year and will be accepting letters to Santa until Dec. 14th. Please make sure to include a return address so that Santa can write the children back.
A stocking decorating event will be held Dec. 15th from 7-8 p.m. The cost will be $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
There will be a holiday painting event Dec. 22 from 7-8 p.m. for all ages. The cost will be $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
