A community Thanksgiving service will be held at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7:00 p.m.
The host pastor for the service is Rev. Micah D. Johnson and the special speaker will be Rev. Melva Hill from Ebenezer Baptist Church. There will be a love offering at the service and the proceeds will be divided between CASA for Hunt County and the Raffa Clinic.
Free Thanksgiving baskets with complete meals will be given away to those in need, and it is asked that those who wish to receive one are present at the service. The basket includes a medium-sized turkey, three cans of green beans, three cans of corn, two boxes of mixed stuffing, two cans of mixed fruit, two cans of cranberry sauce, two packages of dinner rolls, a large box of mashed potatoes, and a dessert of either pie, cookies, or cake.
Music and fellowship will be offered at this service and it is presented by the Greenville Minister’s Fellowship and the Greenville Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance.
