Greenville’s second-ever Cabaret for a Cause will be held at the Texan Theater on Saturday, Oct. 1 starting at 7:30 p.m. The event is run by the volunteer group Troupe De Lish. The last burlesque show raised $5,000 for survivors of domestic abuse, and this year the money will go towards breast cancer awareness.

The two acts will feature 11 routines total that were choreographed by Troupe De Lish. The unifying theme of the show will be “wine tasting”, and in accordance with this theme, the event is 21 and up and BYOB. Guests, therefore, have the option to bring their own alcoholic beverages.

The show will also include a tribute to Dennis Strickland, an advocate for Greenville local arts who passed away in 2020.

Tickets are available here. The ticket prices depend on the seat and range from $25 to $75. The show will be available to stream for $25 and tickets for streaming are available here.
