Maura Arteaga, age 62, of Garland, Texas passed away on July 9, 2022.

Maura was born June 24, 1960, to Angel Arteaga and Maria Abarca. Maura met Filemon “Mauricio” Serrano in 1983 and they married in 1994. In their 39 years of marriage, they made lots of memories and made a family together. She loved to be in the kitchen baking and cooking for her family and if you couldn’t find her there, then she was in the garden tending to her roses.

She is survived by her husband, sons; José Arteaga, and Marcos Arteaga, daughter; Jakeline Serrano, siblings; Roberto, Maria, and Reyna, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Service on July 12th. The funeral service will be at 10:30 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Service on July 13th.

Maura is preceded in death by her parents.
