The family will have a private gathering in Lubbock, TX. Mr. Scruggs passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, in Greenville, TX.

Larry was born on June 28, 1937, in Witchita Falls, TX to Burnise and Laura Scruggs.  He married Alice LaRuth Downing in Lubbock, TX. He was a wholesale building supply sales manager for many years. Larry enjoyed woodworking, water skiing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Whea; step-daughter, Sheila Holt, and Mary Ann Murphy, three step-granddaughters, and five step-great granddaughters.
