Zelma June Galbreath || Obituary

June went to meet the Lord on February 12th, 2022. June was born June 21, 1930, in Arkansas to Bertie and Bert Dawson. June married John T. Galbreath (J.T.) in 1946 in Reno, Nevada. June and J.T. lived throughout the southwest as J.T. worked for Collins Radio and June raised their boys. In 1963, they returned to Oklahoma City to live. There she started her career with Western Electric and was employed there for 23 years. In 2008, June moved to Texas to be close to her children.

June was preceded in death by her husband J.T. and 8 siblings. Margaret, Bernice, Albert, Jay Dee, Shirley, Nettie, Vivian, and Leon. June is survived by two son’s John D. and his wife Lori of Texas City, Texas and Ralph E. and his wife Linda of Farmersville, Texas. She has one grandson John Chris of Cypress, Texas, one granddaughter Kristiana and husband David Pavelk of St. Louis, Missouri, and one sister Sandra Bernardino of Redding, California. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
