Lake Tawakoni State Park to host outdoor activities

If you’re looking for something fun to do outdoors with your friends or family, Tawakoni State Park located just 30 minutes outside of Greenville at 10822 FM, Wills Point Tx 75169 has something for everyone. With over 4 miles of trails for mountain biking and hiking, campsites, geocaching, fishing, and more, there is plenty to keep you busy. They also hold activities, many only requiring the $5 park admission fee for admittance. Some of the events include Hike with a Ranger on Feb. 5, Fun Fish 2022 on Feb. 19, Wild Words on Feb. 25, and Three Cheers for Trees and Stargazing on March 5.
