After a chilly start in the upper 20s and 30s, mostly sunny, breezy, and warmer conditions are expected by this afternoon. High temperatures will range from the mid 50s to lower 60s east to between 65 and 70 degrees across the west. Elevated fire weather conditions will exist west of a Sherman-Denison, to Dallas, to Waco and Temple line this afternoon due to gusty southerly winds, very low humidity, and very dry and dormant vegetation across this area.
